Chapter Critique

The final stage of editing, identifying spelling/grammar mistakes, punctuation errors and formatting inconsistencies to ensure text is polished and error-free before publication/submission. I recommend you do any other edits before this stage.
Proofreading

These stages are done simultaneously. A line edit is an in depth analysis of each line and how it contributes to the big picture. A copy edit fixes typos, inaccuracies, and repetition.

Looks at the ‘big picture’ and focuses on plot, structure, character development, pacing, point of view, etc.
